Movie: Forks over Knives

Scientific data demonstrates the benefits of following a plant-based diet.  On November 30th at 7 pm the First Parish Church of Stow and Acton will present the 90 minute film “Forks Over Knives,” an examination of the claim that most of the degenerative diseases that afflict humanity can be controlled or reversed by rejecting animal-based and processed foods.   The public is welcome to attend and there will be a short discussion and refreshments to follow.  The movie can be previewed at its website: http://www.forksoverknives.com or you can visit http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O7ijukNzlUg.  The church is located at 353 Great Road in Stow (at the intersection of Rts. 117 and 62).  The film will be shown in Fellowship Hall, which is wheelchair accessible.  For more information contact Joris Wils at 978-394-2196 or visit the church website at www.fpc-stow-acton.org.
