Owls of New England: Acton Conservation Trust Annual Meeting

All ACT Members and friends are invited to join us for a night with Tom Wansleben, Wildlife Biologist, and an evening of owls galore.  The night will feature a visual and audio tour all about owls.  These mysterious birds of prey are a fascinating subject yet we understand very little about them.  Tom will provide some context as to why owls are so interesting and how they have been embedded in human myths, religion and pop culture.  We will learn about their natural history such as how they achieve silent flight and capture prey at night with a high degree of accuracy.  Tom will take us through the different owl species we may encounter locally and discuss aspects that are critical to their survival.  It should be a hoot.
Please join us and bring a friend to be entertained by Tom's real life stories about these mythical birds, followed by Q&A with our speaker and refreshments.  More more information, contact Susan Mitchell-Hardt, 978-369-9264, info@actonconservationtrust.org, www.ActonConservationTrust.org
