Dr. Todd H. Rider Leads a Series of Discussions on Science and Faith


Do science and Christian faith conflict? The Adult Christian Education Committee (ACE) invites you to join us at 10 AM on Sunday mornings as Dr. Todd H. Rider leads an eight-Sunday series of interactive presentations which incorporate colorful slides, scientific artifacts, and
recommended books for further reading. Although the series is built upon a common theme, the content of each session stands on its own. Weekly topics include historical examples of events in which science has challenged
believers. Join us Sundays from 10 - 10:30 AM, as follows:

About Our Speaker


Dr. Todd H. Rider studied at MIT and Harvard. He is
Senior Staff Scientist at MIT’s Lincoln Laboratory and Division of Comparative Medicine. Dr. Rider’s work involves developing drugs (dubbed DRACO), which are designed to cure most virus related infections. He also runs educational
outreach programs that provide free science presentations to 11,000 K-12 students per year.
