Finding Courage: Addressing Harm with Restorative Justice Circles

Documenting a new and innovative approach to justice, Communities for Restorative Justice in cooperation with the Acton and Boxborough Police Departments and the Acton-Boxborough United Way will screen a short film, “Finding Courage: Addressing Harm with Restorative Justice Circles” on Tuesday April 29, 2014 at 7p.m. at the Acton Police Department. The film, produced by C4RJ with a variety of grants, showcases what has been hailed as a meaningful response to crime. This purpose of this event is to help members of our community gain an understanding of the restorative justice process, how it benefits our community, and what our community can do to support it.  The film screening is free but registration is required at www.C4RJFilmActon.eventbrite.com or by calling 978.318.3447.
