Gwendolyn Goes Hollywood at the Sargent Memorial Library, Boxborough

Enjoy a perfect day of ballet fun for the budding dancers and story lovers in your family on Wednesday, July 16th at 4:30 PM when ballerinas from Ballet Arts Worcester take center stage at the Sargent Memorial Library, Boxborough, MA. Author David Ira Rottenberg will read his picture book, Gwendolyn Goes Hollywood, while the dancers perform the story. As an added treat, a mini-movement lesson will be offered to the children in the audience after the performance and Rottenberg will sign copies of his book.

The presentation has proved very popular with the library and the children of Boxborough. This is Rottenberg’s third visit and the audience is bigger at each performance.

Gwendolyn Goes Hollywood packs plenty of fun and adventure when the world’s two danciest pigs, Gwendolyn and Omar, head to Hollywood to become stars in a musical. Will the movie be a hit? Can the two pigs really dance and sing? Can’t wait to find out? The event is free. Bring your cameras!
