Disney’s High School Musical Live On-Stage
The Acton Cooperative Theater (The A.C.T.) is pleased to present their production of Disney’s High School Musical Jr. on November 22-24, 2013 at the R.J. Grey Jr. High School Dragonfly Theater, located at 16 Charter Road in Acton. Showtimes are Friday at 7:00pm; Saturday at 2:00pm and 6:00pm; and Sunday at 2:00pm. General Admission Tickets are available at the door for $12 or can be purchased in advance by calling 978.760.2577 or at Buttons & Bows located at 448 Great Rd Acton, MA 01720.
Don’t miss this opportunity to see Disney Channel's smash hit movie musical come to life on stage! Wildcat basketball star Troy Bolton and brainiac Gabriella Montez raise eyebrows among their friends when they decide to audition for the high school musical. Cliques clash and friendships are tested as the students of East High must decide whether to stick to the status quo or break free to find out what’s truly important.
The A.C.T. is a unique, non-profit cooperative theater for children and teens. Their mission is to foster creativity and self-confidence in children as they improve and develop skills in various areas of the performing arts. The A.C.T. welcomes students from Acton and surrounding communities who are interested in exploring the wonderful world of theater.
The A.C.T. also offers a theater enrichment program with organized outings to local shows presented by the Acton Boxborough Regional Schools and to family-friendly Broadway shows at the Hanover Theatre in Worcester, MA. In addition, through the theater enrichment program, friends of The A.C.T. have the ability to purchase discounted, premiere tickets to all shows and events in the Hanover Theatre’s current season. For more information on Disney’s High School Musical, the theater enrichment program or information on upcoming productions, please visit the theater group's website at http://www.the-act.org.
