National Public Lands Day & the Return of Your City Saturdays!

Lowell National Historical Park will offer free admission to the Boott Cotton Mills Museum, all day on Saturday, September 28 in conjunction with National Public Lands Day.Visitors of all ages are welcome!

In addition to free admission to the Boott Cotton Mills Museum, family activities will take place all day! 

  • 11am-12pm: Your City Saturdays at the visitor center, a morning of free arts and crafts activities.
  • 1pm-2pm: Family songwriting workshop -- create your national park stories in song at the Boott Cotton Mills Museum. 
  • 2pm-2:30pm: "This Land is your Land"-- stick around for a singalong celebrating National Public Lands Day at the Boott Mills. 
  • 2:30pm: Free trolley tour, including "Suffolk Mill Bingo" at the River Transformed Exhibit. The  is one hour and 15 minutes and meets at the Boott Cotton Mills Museum.
