Stone-Carving Symposium - Daily Visitors Welcome, Contemporary Arts International (CAI)

Located in a beautiful former granite quarry near NARA Park, the Contemporary Arts International (CAI) is pleased to announce its third annual three-week stone-carving symposium. From August 1 - 21, 2013, three U.S. and five international sculptors will transform blocks of granite into figurative sculptures. This collaborative project involves artists with different backgrounds, styles, and nationalities. The results will be transforming, both for the artists and the blocks of granite. Visitors are welcome daily from 1 - 4pm. A $10 donation is always appreciated.
