Acton Community Chorus Open Rehearsals 9/10&17

Having ideas about how to spend your evenings next Fall on a more relaxed and musical “note”?  Why not join us as the Acton Community Chorus celebrates their 29th season preparing for their “Winter Lights” winter concert in January of 2013.  The music will include great choral works by Mozart, Beethoven, Bach, Haydn and Verdi.  We are always looking for new members and if singing provides an outlet for you one evening of each week, consider joining us on Monday, September 10th and September 17at 7:30 p.m. for OPEN REHEARSALS.  If you would like to join us for the season, we request your monetary commitment by Monday, Sept. 24.  Why not bring a friend who likes to
sing;  there’s always an incentive and all singers are encouraged!

Watch your local paper for further details in our next announcement for time and directions to rehearsals.  For more information call Beth at 978-270-1847 for all inquiries. The 2012 concert season’s  program is supported in part by grants from the Acton-Boxborough, Bedford and Hudson Cultural Councils, local agencies which are supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency.

NOTE:  The Acton Community chorus will be singing
the National Anthem at the Lowell Spinners Game (LeLacher Park) in Lowell, MA., on August 20th.  Game starts at 7:05 p.m.  Parking $5.  GPS directions:  450 Aiken Street, Lowell, MA 01854.  This is a great incentive to get the entire family out on a warm summer’s evening.
