'Helping Maison' Overcome Medical Conditions

Local GoFundMe campaign will help cover the medical cost associated with a young boy's illness.

In September 2013, a Bedford boy already battling hypothyroidism and Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes.

11-year-old Maison's conditions are all related to autoimmune deficiencies, and his family travels "back and forth to Mass General Hospital Boston regularly along with surprise emergency trips," according to Terri MacNeil Wilson's GoFundMe page

"I am humbly asking for assistance with the medical cost associated with his illnesses," MacNeil Wilson wrote on the page. "Co-pays for the doctors visits and medical supplies are incredibly high. Gas, parking and train fair add up too. I would like to get Maison on an insulin pump once we have his blood glucose under control."
