Winthrop and Boynton for sure!!! My Partner was almost killed when a Car and Landscape Truck Collided in the INtersection and The car pinned Her between the House and Car.

Unfortunately (and obviously from all the posts) too many to choose from. However, the real danger lies in the fact that there are too many inattentive, distracted, in-a-rush and just plain old bad drivers out there at these intersections and of course, on the road in general. Seriously, slow down, put the phone down (or at least get a headset!) and pay attention!

Hi Steve, I could not agree more. I believe driving skill is at an all-time low, but not just in Waltham. So many times I have driven through the city only to be nearly T-boned, honked at or cut off.

OK. My pics being studying traffic and construction engineering are Moody Street @ Maple Street/High Street, Totten Pond Road @ Bacon Street/Lexington Street, Plympton Street @ Bacon Street, Trapelo Road @ Forest Street (Being Redone This Year!), Lexington Street @ Trapelo Road, Wyman Street/Smith Street @ Lincoln Street & Newton Street @ Main Street.

Re: "the rate at which people go through the red lights at Totten Pond/Lexington it's amazing there aren't more accidents there." Indeed. Whenever I am first in line on Totten Pond Rd taking a left onto Lexington St I make sure I stay back more than one car length before the stop line, otherwise one can easily get hit by someone going north on Lexington St and turning left onto Totten Pond Rd.
