LETTER TO THE EDITOR: Vote Busse for Selectman

We are writing this letter in support of our friend and neighbor Margaret Woolley Busse for town selectman. My husband and I moved to Acton almost 3 years ago prior to our oldest child entering kindergarten. We came "for the schools" as so many people do and we of course found excellent schools, a caring and engaged community, easier access to nature, and excellent quality of life.

I met Margaret within months of moving to Acton during her tenure leading Acton 2020 while our sons were in the same class.  Margaret is intelligent, warm and generous and most relevant at this point is that she is involved and active in Acton.  She has also been involved and active in her church as well as her children's schools. 

Margaret has already dedicated countless hours to the town of Acton while serving on the Acton planning board and most recently as she has served as chair of the Acton 2020 committee. As a committee member and leader she has been capable, collegial and has worked tirelessly. 

If elected Margaret Busse will use her degree in business and her extensive knowledge of the Acton community as tools to help maintain the Acton we have come to love.  She will also help move Acton forward in a responsible and thoughtful way. 

Margaret is passionate about Acton and for that we should be thankful. I urge you to vote for Margaret Busse for selectman. 

A vote for Busse is a vote for Acton's future!
