Acton Man Arrested on Warrant from Chelmsford

The following arrest information was supplied by the Acton Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

An Acton man was arrested on Aug. 6 after allegedly being involved in a domestic dispute.

Just before 1 p.m., the Chelmsford Police Department contacted Acton police to report an Acton resident was wanted in connection with a domestic incident.

Acton officers were dispatched to 88 Prospect St., where they found and arrested Thomas P. Hebert, 48.

He was arrested on a summons warrant. The warrant was for leaving the scene.

He was scheduled to be arraigned later on Aug. 6.

In other police news from Aug. 6:

  • Officers were dispatched to School Street for a report of a tractor on fire. The fire was put out before officers arrived.
  • A Hayward Road resident reported kids were setting off fireworks in the area. The kids were gone on arrival and there were no signs of fireworks.
  • A caller from Town House Lane reported a male party sitting outside her daughter's window causing a disturbance. She asked him politely to stop but he got louder. Responding officers spoke to the male and sent him inside for the night.
