Acton Man Arrested on Warrant for License Charge

The following arrest information was supplied by the Acton Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

An local man was arrested on Feb. 16 after the Acton Police Department responded to a Massachusetts Avenue residence for a report of threats or harassment.

Officers were dispatched to 576 Massachusetts Ave. just before 3 p.m.

After arriving and the completion of an investigation, officers found a warrant out for the arrest of Rodrigo Alves, 37.

He was wanted to face charges of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

The arresting officer was Scott Krug.

In other police news from Feb. 16:

  • A passerby reported seeing a deer on Massachusetts Avenue that may have been struck by a motor vehicle. The person said the deer was still alive and in a ditch. Responding officer was unable to locate the deer.
  • Officers were dispatched to Esterbrook Road for a larceny report at Esterbrook Farm.
  • A Robbins Street resident reported someone tried to sell him drugs.
  • A Preston Way resident complained of a suspicious male who was ringing the doorbell. She was advised to call back if the male showed up again.
