Acton Man Faces Assault and Battery Charge

The following arrest information was supplied by the Acton Police Department.

An Acton Police officer responding to a report of a past domestic issue on Parker Street resulted in the arrest of a local man.

The officer was dispatched to 371 Main St. just after 3:30 p.m. on May 10.

After an investigation was completed, Brewster MF Bingham, 32, of 16 Parker St., was arrested and charged with assault and battery.

  • Officers responded to Main Street for a report of a missing person who never got the commuter rail the night before. Conductor remembered the person who asked South Acton was every stop, then got off with the crowd in South Acton. Person was found at Holiday Express in Hudson.
  • Officers were dispatched to Massachusetts Avenue for a report of a male who left some clothes and a backpack on the grass and walked away heading up to 299 Main St. Responding officer reported the person's clothes were wet from the previous night and he was just trying to dry them on the grass.
  • A person on Powdermill Road reported that her car window was smashed out.
  • An officer responded to Central Street for a report of six or more females laying on the railroad tracks. Officer was advised they were taking pictures for a school project. Girls were told to move along.
