Acton Police Help Stop Alleged Felony From Fitchburg
The following was provided by the Acton Police Department.
On 6-12-13 at approximately 1:00 AM the Fitchburg Police Department put out a broadcast for a vehicle involved in an armed home invasion which had just taken place in their city. A short time later while on Main Street in the area of Taylor Road Officer Luke Penney observed the vehicle traveling north on Main Street. With the assistance of other officers a felony stop was conducted on the vehicle.
The following individuals were removed from the vehicle and placed under arrest for the armed home invasion:
- Zudariel Soto-Franco, age 27 of 309 Salem Street, Lawrence, Massachusetts.
- Hector M. Rivera-Cruz, age 37 of 103 Cluff Crossing, Salem, New Hampshire.
Both were processed at the Acton Police Department prior to being turned over to the Fitchburg Police Department.
