Acton School Evacuated for Bomb Threat Thursday Morning

RJ Grey Junior High School in Acton was evacuated Thursday, Oct. 24 after a reported bomb threat. 

According to the Acton Police Department, the police and fire departments responded to the school at 8:30 a.m. this morning. The school was evacuated as members of the police and fire departments, along with the State Police Bomb Unit, searched the school. 

Nothing suspicious was found, according to APD, and faculty and students were able to return to the building by 9:45 a.m. 

School officials and police are investigating the bomb threat, police said.
