Acton Woman Arrested in Westford

Linda Riley was charged with assault and battery.

A local woman is facing a charge in Westford after a recent incident in that town.

Linda E. Riley, 33, of Acton, was arrested at 11:24 p.m. on Feb. 6, and charged with assault and battery, domestic, according to a post by the Westford Police Department. She was arrested at North Street and Dempsey Way in the town.

According to online reports, Riley has been arrested a couple of times in the past few years.

In January 2012, Concord Police arrested her around 2:30 a.m. after initiating a motor vehicle stop on Elm Street at Commerford Road. Riley was charged with operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol (second offense), marked lanes violations, and no inspection sticker.

According to the Lowell Sun, Riley was arrested in September 2008 on an aggravated driving while intoxicated charge in Nashua.
