Alleged Shoplifting, Domestic Issue and More from the Acton Police Log

The following information was supplied by the Acton Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned it does not indicate a conviction.

The following was reported by the Acton Police Department on June 25:

  • An officer was dispatched to a Main Street business for a larceny report. An alleged shoplifter was in custody at the store.
  • An officer spoke to a Davis Road resident in the lobby regarding a past domestic issue. The person had questions about the case. Officer deemed it a civil matter and advised the person to contact an attorney.
  • Officers responded to Great Road to check the area after the manager of Donelan's reported a woman who was allegedly drinking in her car. She was not located. Concord police were notified because the car was registered in Concord.
  • A caller on Minuteman Road reported a wire down on the road. Caller stated it may have been pulled down by a delivery vehicle but was unsure of the company. A responding officer confirmed it was a cable wire. A resident got in contact with the delivery company, which said it will fix the wire.
  • An officer responded to Ledge Rock Way for an animal problem. The officer was going to pick up a dog at Nara Park, but the owner was located before the call ended.
