The following happened on Jan. 14:

  • A motorist walked into the Acton Police Department to report a hit-and-run accident.
  • A Great Road resident reported a carbreak and that a GPS was allegedly stolen from the car.
  • Transportation reported that a bus driver saw a tractor trailer damage a hydrant on Route 2. The truck was possibly orange. The hydrant was not damaged.
  • A person on Newtown Road reported a deer was struck.
  • A larceny was reported on Massachusetts Avenue.
