Carbreak, Oil Spill and More from the Acton Police Log

The following information was provided by the Acton Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned it does not indicate a conviction.

A Carlisle Road resident reported to the Acton Police Department he saw someone break into his car on Jan. 10.

The person said the incident happened overnight but didn't think anything was stolen.

The person still requested to speak with an officer.

The person told police he thought someone in the neighborhood broke into the car but he did not want to pursue the matter.

  • Officers responded to Taylor Road for an accident between a bus and a car. No damage was reported.
  • An oil spill was reported on Keefe Road. Acton police notified the Board of Health about the situation.
  • A caller on Hammond Street requested the dog officer because the neighbor's dog was coming into the his yard.
  • Officers responded to Nash Road for a report of a male banging on the front door. Only description was the person was wearing a black, hooded sweatshirt. Officers were advised one of the neighbors stated a mother and child were going door-to-door selling Girl Scout cookies.
