Domestic Problem, Injured Motorists and More From the Acton Police Log

The following information was supplied by the Acton Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned it does not indicate a conviction.

The following was reported by the Acton Police Department on Feb. 14:

  • Officers responded to Main Street for a report of a car off the road. Car was gone on arrival.
  • Officers were dispatched to Hosmer Street to perform an warrant arrest. Party was not home.
  • An accident was reported on Newtown Road. No injuries reported and there was minor damage.
  • A caller reported his wife had a no abuse order against him and was following him around town. Caller and wife both came into the station.
  • A Parker Street resident asked for assistance regarding suspicious activity in her attic. Officer advised the resident it was a pest control problem.
  • Officers were dispatched to Route 2 for an accident with reported injuries. State Police handled the issue. No one was transported.
  • Officers responded to Balsam Drive for a report of breaking and entry.
  • A caller reported seeing a dog running in the area of Parker Street at Robert Road. Caller was concerned that because of high snow banks the dog may get hit.
  • A larceny was reported at the Massachusetts Avenue Sunoco.
