Donkeys on the Loose, Suspicious Activity and More from the Acton Police Log

The Acton Police Department received an unusual call on Nov. 28 from a person on Avalon Drive.

When responding officers arrived at the scene, two donkeys were roaming the area after getting loose from their cage.

The donkeys were eventually returned to safety.

In other police news from Nov. 28:

  • Officers assisted on two medical calls on Mohawk Drive and Rex Lane where two people were transported to Emerson Hospital.
  • A Great Road resident reported a larceny by check.
  • A Powdermill Road resident reported being harrassed.
  • A Captain Browns Lane resident reported seeing a suspicious male in the yard. An officer planned to follow up the report with the high school.
  • Officers assisted a motorist whose car broke down on Central Street. The motorist asked for assistance because he was worried he was on a bad corner.
