Drug Violation, Sick Fox at NARA Park and More From the Acton Police Log

The following information was supplied by the Acton Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned it does not indicate a conviction.

The following was reported by the Acton Police Department on Aug. 7:

  • Officers responded to Wright Terrace for a report of a teens making noise in the area. The teens agreed to keep the noise down.
  • Officers were dispatched to Great Road for a report of a domestic dispute in progress. The dispute was verbal in nature.
  • A drug violation was reported on Massachusetts Avenue. Someone allegedly tried to obtain drugs via false prescriptions.
  • Emergency personnel were dispatched to Main Street for a report of an accident with injuries. 
  • An officer was dispatched to NARA Park for a report of a fox in the area. The caller stated the fox looked sick. The fox was destroyed.
  • Officers responded to Great Road for a report of a suspicious person drinking alcohol in her vehicle in the Donelan's parking lot. The car was stopped after leaving the lot and the driver was issued a no trespass notice for Donelan's.
  • Emergency personnel responded to Main Street for a report of a bicyclist who was struck by a vehicle. She reported no injuries and refused medical assistance.
