Expect Traffic Detours in Acton Next Week

Acton Police Detective Christopher Prehl and Deputy Chief of Police Rich Burrows are alerting motorists driving through town next week of planned detours.

"Hayward Road will have detours from 7 a.m to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday. Traffic will be shut off at Charter Road and directed down Charter to Arlington and on the opposite end of Hayward Road at Arlington that will be closed, directing cars down Arlington to Charter then back out to Hayward," Prehl said in an email.

Asplundh Tree will be working on High Street starting at Main Street. This is a moving detail and two officers will be moving along with the crews.
