Groton Selectmen Meet With Fire Chief Hopeful Robert Hart
Hart is one of two finalists considered for the fire chief position.
Groton selectmen on Monday had a special session to meet with the two finalists for fire chief, the chosen one who will replace retiring chief Joseph Bosselait, reported the Lowell Sun.
In separate sessions, the two finalists discussed a variety of subjects with the selectmen. One of the finalists is Robert Hart, presently the deputy chief from Acton. More than 24 had applied for the position, with finalists chosen by a search committee.
Hart, in the interview, referred to himself as a "team player" and talked about a good chief being one who is supported by the town, said the Sun. Bosselait will return on June 30.
