Injured Motorists, Ambulance Catches Fire and More From the Acton Police Log

The following information was supplied by the Acton Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned it does not indicate a conviction.

The following was reported by the Acton Police Department on July 16:

  • A motorist on Main Street was assisted after hitting a deer. No injuries were reported.
  • Emergency personnel responded to Route 2 for a report of an accident with injuries. One person was transported to Emerson Hospital.
  • An officer was dispatched to Main Street to take a report of a past larceny.
  • A caller on Main Street reported finding a small dog tied up at CrossFit. The dog officer was notified.
  • An officer responded to the lobby of a Great Road apartment building to speak with a female who said she received four $100 bills in the mail from someone she did not know.
  • An officer took a missing person report on Central Street.
  • Emergency personnel responded to Route 2 for a report of an ambulance that caught fire. An officer on the scene reported it appeared to be a transmission issue. Speedy Dry was used to leaked fluids.
