Lowell, Acton Men Arrested on Separate Charges

The following arrest information was supplied by the Acton Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

The Acton Police Department made two arrests on Oct. 15, including one of a local man.

Luis Figueroa, 56, of 433 Massachusetts Ave., Apt. 14, walked into the station knowing he had a warrant out for his arrest, and was booked by Officer Dean Keeler.

Figueroa was wanted on charges of assaut and battery, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, and threateing to commit a crime.

The other arrest came from a traffic stop at 654 Massachusetts Ave., where Ricardo Valdes, 29, of 26 Fisher St., Apt. 26, in Lowell was pulled over.

After Officer Daniel Silva completed and investigation, Valdes was arrested and charged with operation of a motor vehicle with a suspended license (subsequent offense), possession of or using a false or stolen registry of motor vehicle document, and giving a police officer a false name.
