Malicious Destruction, Sexual Assault and More From the Acton Police Log

The following information was supplied by the Acton Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned it does not indicate a conviction.

The following was reported by the Acton Police Department on July 31:

  • A resident on Mohawk Drive reported a black pickup truck with yellow pipes and possibly a mower or snow blower in the bed pulled into her driveway. The driver knocked on her door and tried to open the door. The driver, a male, left in the vehicle. Responding officers did not find the truck or the driver.
  • A person walked into the lobby to report she found a brown, leather wallet on the curb on Massachusetts Avenue. Boxborough police were notified it belonged to one of their residents.
  • A sexual assault was reported on Main Street.
  • A person on Hayward Road reported someone intentionally poured soda on his scooter.
  • Officers were dispatched to Faulkner Hill Road for a report of a domestic issue. Officers reported it was verbal in nature.
  • Emergency personnel responded to Main Street for a report on an accident with injuries. One person was transported to Emerson Hospital with minor injuries. The road was temporarily closed until NSTAR completed work caused by the accident.
