Police Log: Accidents, Arguments and Injured Animals

The following information was provided by the Acton Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Friday, Jan. 3

2:31 a.m. – Police responded to a reported motor vehicle accident involving a town vehicle on Great Road.

2:33 a.m. – An Arlington Street resident reported his wife was despondent. The responding officer reported the woman was fine, and did not want to talk with her husband, citing ongoing issues.

6:10 a.m. – The DPW reported a vehicle on Kennedy Lane was causing issues with snow removal. The responding officer reported the vehicle was moved by its owner.

9:10 a.m. – Police responded to a reported motor vehicle accident on Powdermill Road, which actually was located in Concord.

11:40 a.m. – Police responded to Route 2 for a report of a disabled motor vehicle. The responding officer advised the vehicle was off the roadway and not a hazard.

1:21 p.m. – A possibly injured dog was reported on School Street.

2:38 p.m. – A vehicle was reported off the roadway and into a snowbank on Main Street. The responding officer checked the area, but nothing was found.

4:32 p.m. – Police responded to a reported hit-and-run accident on Mass Ave.

8:59 p.m. – Police responded to a report of a vehicle off the roadway on Powdermill Road.
