Police Log: Accidents, Plow Problems on a Snowy Day in Acton

The following information was provided by the Acton Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Thursday, Jan. 2

7:59 a.m. – Police responded to a 911 call from Great Road. It was confirmed as accidental.

8:21 a.m. – Police responded to a report of a vehicle off the roadway on Pope Road.

9:18 a.m. – A motor vehicle accident was reported on School Street.

9:37 a.m. – An officer requested that an incident for threatening and harassing be created.

10:18 a.m. – Police responded to a report of a two-vehicle collision with no injuries on Great Road.

1:54 p.m. – Police responded to an alarm activation reporting a front glass break on Great Road.

3:02 p.m. – Police responded to Central Street to take a larceny report.

4:53 p.m. – A Strawberry Hill Road resident reported the neighbor’s plow driver plowed her into her driveway. The responding officer reported the driver would be removing the snow.

5:53 p.m. – A man walked into the lobby to drop off a wallet he found at the Avalon Apartments.

9:06 p.m. – Police responded to Great Road for a reported motor vehicle accident.

10:05 p.m. – A disabled motor vehicle was reported on Great Road. The driver of the involved vehicle was able to get it out of the snow.
