Police Log: Harrassment, Alarms and a Damaged Dump Truck

Wednesday, Aug. 21
7:52 a.m. – Police responded to a Main Street business area for a report of two kids banging on windows around the plaza.
9:59 a.m. – Police responded to a report of harassment on Ledge Rock Way.

12:04 p.m. – A hit-and-run accident was reported on Main Street.
2:28 p.m. – Suspicious phone calls were reported on Old Village Road.

3:14 p.m. – Police responded to a reported motor vehicle accident on Main Street.
4:10 p.m. – A person walked into the station to turn in an iPhone she found on High Street.
5:39 p.m. – An Ashland man reported finding a 5-gallon bucket of tools in the roadway in Acton on Aug. 20.
6:02 p.m. – Police responded to a report of a suspicious person in a red pickup parked in front of an Orchard Drive residence. The vehicle belonged to a landscaper providing a quote to a resident in the area, according to police.
6:10 p.m. – Police responded to a reported domestic on Great Road.
11:24 p.m. – A report of a barking dog came in from Conant Street.
Thursday, Aug. 22
8:52 a.m. – Police responded to an alarm activation on Nonset Path, which turned out to have been triggered by the homeowner.
12:44 p.m. – A residential alarm triggered in a dining room on Strawberry Hill Road. It was accidental by a homeowner, according to police.
2:02 p.m. – Police responded to a report of a dog in a white Kia with the windows up on Mass Ave. The responding officer reported the windows were down and the dog was fine.
3:46 p.m. – Police responded to Powdermill Road to speak with a man about damage done to his dump truck.
4:19 p.m. – Police responded to a reported motor vehicle accident with no injuries on Central Street.
7:16 p.m. – An alarm company reported and activation coming from a living room on Nonset Patch.
8:39 p.m. – A Powdermill Road resident reported being locked out of her home. Entry was gained shortly before 9 p.m., according to the incident log.
