Police Log: Larceny, Suspicious Persons and Info on Divorce

The following information was provided by the Acton Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Monday, Dec. 30

8:25 a.m. – Police conducted a wellbeing check on Main Street. There were no reported issues.

11:23 a.m. – Police responded to Vanderbelt Road to speak with a person looking for advice in the divorce process.

1:04 p.m. – Police responded to Mass Ave to speak with a woman regarding a verbal argument she had with another customer there.

3:17 p.m. – Police responded to Great Road for a report of a woman with a walking stick who kept crossing the roadway. The responding officer checked the area and was unable to locate the woman in question.

4:35 p.m. – Police responded to a reported water main break in Lawsbrook Road.

Tuesday, Dec. 31

2:28 a.m. – Police responded to a report of a vehicle off the side of the road on Wayside Lane. The responding officer reported one of the subjects was a nearby resident; they were sent on their way.

11:59 a.m. – Police responded to a reported alarm activation with broken glass on Great Road. The responding officer reported no problems on the scene.

4:25 p.m. – Police responded to a reported larceny on Great Road.

4:27 p.m. – Officers investigated a reported motor vehicle accident on Mass Ave.

7:46 p.m. – Police responded to a reported disabled motor vehicle on Main Street. The responding officer reported the vehicle owner received permission to leave he car there until AAA could pick it up.

7:56 p.m. – Police responded to a reported 911 hang-up. It was confirmed as accidental.
