Police Log: Stealing from Kmart, Suspicious Activity and More

The following information was provided by the Acton Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Wednesday, Dec. 4

12:27 a.m. – An officer on patrol reported finding a black bag with a Kindle and picture of a grave stone on Central Street. Meanwhile, a caller from out of town reported losing his Kindle in Acton.

2:37 a.m. – Police responded to Mass Ave for a reported violation of a no trespass order.

9:51 a.m. – Police responded to Main Street for a report of the larceny of a portable GPS unit.

11:38 a.m. – Police responded to a reported larceny at K-Mart and located two suspects around the high school before returning to the store with the missing items.

12:43 p.m. – Police responded to a report of harassment on Great Road.

4:07 p.m. – Officers responded to a reported motor vehicle accident on Powdermill Road.

4:27 p.m. – Suspicious activity was reported at the high school.

4:45 p.m. – Officers assisted Chelsea Police with an investigation.
