Police Log: Stolen Car Parts, Alleged Street Racing

The following information was provided by the Acton Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Wednesday, Nov. 27

7:22 a.m. – A caller reported a motor vehicle operating erratically heading eastbound on Route 2A.

7:42 a.m. – Police responded to a report of a disruptive person in a store on Mass Ave. The person reportedly left the store after making threats.

9:16 a.m. – A call came in reporting a chow-type dog wearing a bandana in an intersection on Stow Street.

10:20 a.m. – Police responded to a report of car parts stolen from the commuter lot off Central Street.

11:48 a.m. – Police responded to a motor vehicle on Wood Lane, where a gray SUV reportedly hit a mailbox and pole. One person was transported to Emerson Hospital.

3:33 p.m. – A harassment complaint came in from Hosmer Street.  

5:14 p.m. – A call came in from Will Street reporting a neighbor across the street playing loud music. The responding officer reported the music was turned down.

6:30 p.m. – Police responded to a report of a past attempted larceny on Central Street.

7:25 p.m. – Police responded to Charter road for a report of two vehicles racing.

10:04 p.m. – A call came in reporting an erratic motor vehicle on Main Street. The responding officer reported the vehicle was gone on arrival.
