Police Log: Threatening Phone Calls, Suspicious Activity

The following information was provided by the Acton Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Wednesday, Jan. 8

11:07 a.m. – Police responded to a report of suspicious activity on McKinley Drive.

11:41 a.m. – A disabled motor vehicle was reportedly blocking traffic on Central Street.

12:02 p.m. – Police responded to a report of suspicious activity on Main Street.

1:28 p.m. – Police responded to a pedestrian accident on Central Street. The victim refused treatment and wanted to get on the train.

1:45 p.m. – A car was reportedly hit by a train on Central Street. The responding officer reported the car was stuck on the tracks and there were no injuries.

3:23 p.m. – A Hosmer Street resident reported receiving annoying phone calls.

5 p.m. – Police responded to report of suspicious activity on Hosmer Street.

5:03 p.m. – An Old Village Road resident came into the lobby to speak to police about credit card fraud.

7:55 p.m. – A customer reportedly threatened the manager of a business on Great road.
