Possible ID Theft, Bullet Found and More From the Acton Police Log

The following information was supplied by the Acton Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned it does not indicate a conviction.

The following was reported to the Acton Police Department on Jan. 30:

  • Officers were dispatched to School Street for a report of a one-car accident. Motorist said he ran into a stop sign. No injuries reported.
  • An Arlington Street resident reported there was a suspicious van in her driveway. Responding officers spoke to the operator, who realized he was in the wrong driveway.
  • Officers responded to John Swift Road for a report of a one-car accident. Car struck a pole and had to be towed. No injuries reported.
  • Officers were dispatched to Massachusetts Avenue to pick up one round of live ammunition at the bank.
  • A Concord Road resident reported he received a package in the mail that he didn't order. Person thought it might be ID theft.
  • A suspicious couple was reported walking down Wayward Road. Responding officers did not find the couple.
