Stolen Car That Wasn't, Malicious Destruction and More From the Acton Police Log

The following information was supplied by the Acton Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned it does not indicate a conviction.

Acton Police officers were dispatched to Massachusetts Avenue on Dec. 7 after receiving a report of a stolen car.

The vehicle reported stolen was a gray 2000 Chevy Blazer.

After officers investigated, it was revealed the car was parked in a different spot.

In other police news from Dec. 7:

  • Acton police received a report of graffiti on a building on Charter Road.
  • Officers were dispatched to Post Office Square for a report of threats and harassment.
  • Officers responded to MacLeod Lane for a report of a person cutting bushes and carrying a gun. Person was described as a white male in his 40s wearing a white shirt, tan jacket and black cowboy hat, standing 5-foot-5 to 5-foot-6. Officers found two sons at the residence but not the caller. Caller was found in the woods and her claims were unfounded. Caller was left with a neighbor until her husband could return.
  • A package left at an Alcott Street property was reported stolen.
