Boxborough Man Arrested, Charged in Connection with Oct. 11 Housebreaks

The following is a press release from the Sudbury Police Department.

On October 11th the Sudbury Police Department responded to several reports of attempted and actual breaks to houses within Sudbury.  During the initial investigation it was learned a substantial amount of jewelry had been stolen, among other items.  As well, several witnesses were able to provide a description of the involved persons/vehicle used to flee the area.  This intelligence was disseminated to other police departments facilitating correspondence between several agencies developing vital information in identifying potential suspect(s).  Approximately $10,000 in jewelry was retrieved with the assistance of the Acton/Lynn Police Departments which had been identified by one of the victims.

As a result of the investigation, to this point, Sudbury Detectives have obtained/executed an arrest warrant for Sheridan A. Bond (25) of 140 Swanson Road Apt. 424 in Boxborough, MA.  He was taken into custody without incident at the Concord District Court having been charged with breaking and entering during the daytime with intent to commit a felony and larceny from a building along with another warrant for violation of probation regarding a separate case.  A search warrant was executed on Bond’s vehicle in the lot of Concord District Court and a second search warrant was executed on his residence in Boxborough, both yielded further evidence.

Bond was brought back to the Sudbury Police Department where he was booked and then transported to Framingham District Court for arraignment.  We expect to have more individuals charged in the future as the investigation continues.

The Sudbury Police Department would like to thank all the departments who assisted in the investigation to include Acton, Boxborough, Concord and Lynn.
