The investigation was conducted by the recently created Drug Unit. The unit contains one Sergeant and one Detective. The Drug Unit’s mission is the suppression of illegal narcotics activities and related crimes in the community.

Over the past year the Police Department has seen a significant rise in drug related tragedies and criminal activity fueled by the need to support a drug addiction.

The police department can’t solve this problem alone. Do not assume the police already know about the activity. Information can be reported anonymously to a member of the Drug Unit at 978-264-9640.
