Woman Ejected from Car in Early Morning Crash in Acton
Cause of the crash and identity of the driver are under investigation.
State Police are investigating the cause of a crash and the identify of an injured woman after a rollover accident this morning on Route 2 in Acton.
The single-car accident occurred shortly after 5:30 a.m. Thursday morning, just past exit 42 on Route 2 eastbound in Acton. The vehicle involved was a Saturn Ion, which rolled over and off of the right side of the highway, according to State Police.
The as-yet unidentified driver was transported to Emerson Hospital, according to a State Police spokesperson. As of noontime, police were still investigating both the cause of the crash and the identity of the female driver, the spokesperson said.
