Are You Following Acton's Water Conservation Schedule?

Anyone who violates the schedule may be subject to a $200 fine.

Acton has a strict lawn watering schedule that restricts households to one day of watering per week.

Residents with even-numbered addresses may water outdoors on Tuesdays, Thursdays, or Saturdays. Residents with odd-numbered addresses may water outdoors on Wednesdays, Fridays, or Sundays.

Watering may only occur before 7 a.m. or after 7 p.m. Watering during the day causes evaporation, according to the town.

No watering is allowed Monday.

The Acton Water District said it "strives to balance all water uses without being overly restrictive." Find more information on its website.
