The Miracle of a Donation - NARA's Miracle League Field Update

Miracle League Field project at NARA Park receives sizable donation.

The just received a miracle from the Steinberg-Lalli Charitable Foundation in the form of a $100,000 donation in exchange to name the field after the late Joseph Lalli who was partners with Steve Steinberg - "The Joseph Lalli Miracle Field." The foundation is said to match $100,000 with the Miracle League of Massachusetts.

The Acton Board of Selectmen approved this motion Monday night. A change was made by the Town to adopt a new rule in their "naming town facilities." Basically they added a section that allows a facility to be named after someone who does not and/or did not live in Acton but has done charitable work for the town. Joseph Lalli lived in Maynard and has done a great deal of charitable work with the Steinberg-Lalli Charitable Foundation in Acton.

George Dimakarakos, who is volunteering his time as the engineer of the project set up Lauren and (heading the project) with Steven Steinberg.
