Three Weeks of Paving Starts Sept 30

Police and signs will direct traffic as needed.

The town of Acton has announced a three-week milling and paving program will begin on Monday, Sept. 30. 

According to an announcement, "This process will involve grinding, leveling, the raising of drainage structures and putting down a final course of pavement." The following roads will be paved:

  • Central Street (from house #191 to Windsor Avenue)
  • Kingman Road 
  • Castle Drive
  • Macleod Lane
  • Heather Hill
  • Arlington Street (from Summer Street to Notre Dame Road)

The program is expected to take about three weeks, but will be weather dependent. There will be no on-street parking allowed on streets where crews are working, and police and signs will be posted to direct traffic.
