Tree Removal, Scenic Roads Among Topics for Discussion at Week's Meetings

After being closed for Presidents Day, Town Hall is back open for business.

Editor's Note: The meetings scheduled for Tuesday night were postponed due to the snow.

Despite a short week in Acton, there will be several meetings taking place in the upcoming days.

After town offices were closed on Monday for Presidents Day, town officials get back to work with a busy Tuesday schedule.

The Commission on Disabilities meets at 9:30 a.m. inside Town Hall. During the evening hours, the Planning Board holds a 7:30 p.m. session, including a Public Hearing for proposed zoning changes at 7:45 p.m. in the same venue.

Closing out the Tuesday schedule, the Acton Tree Warden and the Planning Board Tree Removal and Scenic Roads Hearing will take place at 8:15 p.m.

On Wednesday, the Conservation Commission is on the docket for 7:30 p.m. in Town Hall, Room 204.

The final Acton meetings of the week will take place on Thursday. That's when the Acton Community Housing Corporation meets at 7 p.m. and the Community Preservation Committee holds a 7:30 p.m. session of its own.
