Even before the first flakes fell during the latest New England winter storm, the weather's impact is being felt in Acton.
Students in Acton have no need to run through their usual pre-snow routines. The decision has already been made.
Acton school officials announced on the district website that the town's schools will be closed.
"Due to expected poor weather conditions, there will be no school tomorrow, February 5," the announcement said.
