Interim No More: Campbell Accepts Permanent Post as A-B’s Principal

Appointment was announced last week.

After just a few months on the job, Joanne Campbell can drop the interim from her title as Principal of Acton-Boxborough Regional High School.

Campbell, who was an assistant principal at A-B from 2005 to 2008, returned to the school as interim principal following a few years as a dean and English department head at Lexington High.

Superintendent of Schools Stephen Mills announced his appointment of Campbell as the permanent principal at A-B last week.

“Dr. Campbell has all the qualifications that the school district and the Acton Boxborough Community would like to see in a principal,” Mills said in the announcement. “We are very happy to welcome her in her role on the Acton‐Boxborough Regional Schools’ administrative team.”
