VIDEO: Acton-Boxborough Students Dumpster Dive for a Green Cause

AB students, faculty, staff and community leaders came together Tuesday afternoon to audit the school cafeteria's waste.

On Tuesday, Nov. 29, the Acton-Boxborough student organization, Green Council, decided to go through the school cafeteria's trash and audit the school's consumption of waste. What they came to find was that many things that could be recycled were thrown in the trash.

According to a statement from the Acton-Boxborough Green Council, "The Resource Team is the subgroup working on this effort, with an ultimate goal of harvesting the compostable and recyclable materials currently being disposed of in the trash."
