When Does Kindergarten Registration Open in Acton?

When it comes to Kindergarten registration, there are many noteworthy dates for parents – not the least of which is Sept. 1, 2014, or the date by which a child entering Kindergarten for the 2014-2015 school year will have to have turned 5.
Next—in terms of importance, not chronologically speaking—would come the actual registration dates.
Those, according to the Acton-Boxborough School District website are:

Early Registration for Siblings and Walkers
- Tuesday, Jan. 21 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.
- Wednesday, Jan. 22 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
General Kindergarten Registration

- Tuesday, March 11 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.
- Wednesday, March 12 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
All registration sessions will be held at the Central Office at RJ Grey Junior High School. And parents/guardians must bring a copy of their child’s (or children’s) birth certificate/passport, the most recent physical examination and immunization record and proof of residency.
Before registration, there are a few other noteworthy dates.
School tours for parents will be held Jan. 24, Jan. 25, Feb. 3 and Feb. 5. And parent information meetings will be held
- Tuesday, Jan. 21, 7:00 p.m. at Douglas
- Tuesday, Jan. 28, 7 p.m. at McCarthy-Towne
- Tuesday, Feb. 4, 7 p.m. at Merriam
- Tuesday, Feb. 11, 7 p.m. at Blanchard
- Tuesday, Feb. 25, 7 p.m. at Gates
- Tuesday, March 4, at 7 p.m. at Conant
