Saad Dinno discussed issues facing his industry.

Saad Dinno, the co-owner of Acton Pharmacy, discussed issues facing his industry during a conference this week in Washington, D.C.

Dinno met with U.S. Sen. Ed Markey, D-Mass., and attended conferences held by the National Community Pharmacists Association and the International Academy of Compounding Pharmacists.

“The two visits were a great opportunity to talk about the pressing issues currently facing independent community pharmacies and pharmacies that specialize in compounding, such as Acton Pharmacy,” Dinno said in a statement.
